Some people walk into your life, and you just know that you're meant to be friends, and they will always be there. Amelia's mom, Janelle, is one of those people. I had the pleasure of working with her for 5 years, and she was always the bright spot in my workday. We have so much in common - we are both Christians, grew up on a farm, went to a small private school, love Chinese food and coffee. We had many of the same likes, dislikes, and struggles. I got to witness her wedding day. We shared the joy of being pregnant at the same time (her with her first child, Anna, and me with my 5th and final, Leo). We shared so much life for those 5 years, it's hard to believe that it's been almost a year and a half since we worked together. She gave birth to her second daughter, Amelia, in January and I was so thankful to get to visit them and capture some sweet shots of their newest addition. It was great to spend some time with her sweet family, and she and I picked up right where we left off, with some Chinese food! Anna just turned 3, is absolutely adorable and fills the role of big sister perfectly. I know these two girls are going to be the best of friends and I am excited to watch them grow up together!
