Newborn
There aren't many things more magical than the first few days at home with your newborn babe! That time spent getting to know each other, snuggling this baby you've carried for so long, and just enjoying life as a new little family. I want your newborn photos to capture that connection and help you remember those moments that can be so easily forgotten amidst the sleep deprivation and countless diapers. I want you to look back on them and remember drinking in that new baby smell. The way he felt in your arms those first days. The sound of her tiny cry and the way she just melted into your arms when you held her.
As a mom, I understand that babies have their own schedule, and we'll take direction for the session from your little one - if he gets hungry and needs to eat, we will wait on him. If she is fussy and just wants to be held, we'll do the whole session with her in your arms. Being a new parent is overwhelming enough, and I want these sessions to be as comfortable and stress-free for you as possible. These sessions can be done in the comfort of your home (or outdoors if it is warm enough), which provides a special level of intimacy, flexibility and meaning for your family photos. Don't stress if the house isn't perfectly picked up, or your hair is slightly out of place - my goal is to capture that love and connection, and help you feel beautiful through it all!
Newborn Session Info
A typical newborn session can last about 2 hours. I have some different wraps, outfits and headbands to choose from, but these sessions are more about the baby and new family than perfectly posed newborn shots. $300, minimum of 20 edited images
