Valley Forge Maternity Session
Desiree scheduled her maternity photos a few months ago (always great to do it ahead of time to make sure that you get the day and location you want!) and she is another one of those amazing pregnant summer mamas! Seriously, I don't know how you ladies manage to look so amazing 8 months pregnant in 100 degree temps, but wow - I am impressed!
This will be Desiree and Joe's first baby, a little girl, and you could feel their excitement. It will never cease to amaze me all of the things that a mother does and sacrifices for her baby before they are even born. I think that many people don't realize that. They think that motherhood starts when the baby is born, but really it starts from the moment that baby comes into being. The changes your body goes through, both physically and mentally. The sleepless nights and worry often start long before that little one is in your arms. And the love you feel for that tiny little human is already indescribable!
Valley Forge is definitely one of my favorite places to take photos, and the more I go there, the more amazing spots I find. There are so many different options of nature and beautiful buildings and architectural finds. This evening was on par for the scorching heat and humidity the summer has brought, but these guys were ready to go, and I love the way their gallery turned out!
