Valley Forge Newborn Session
I met Amy and Gage a couple of months ago for their maternity session at Valley Forge Park. They welcomed their first little one, baby Forrest, just a couple of weeks later. We met up in the same spot at Valley Forge to get some newborn photos of their new family of 3.
I didn't get newborn photos with any of our kids, and it is something that I will probably always regret. We have all kinds of pictures on our phones, but hardly any photos of both of us with the baby, and I love being able to capture those moments for other new parents! There is something so amazing about watching a new mother and father interact with their baby. There is so much love, joy and wonder. The way the father looks at his new baby, just beaming with pride. The way a new mother cradles her little one in her arms. The way the baby just melts into his parents. And it is so beautiful to witness the love between new parents as they're enjoying their new baby.
Most of my newborn sessions are done in the home, which provides a comfortable and intimate environment. But I always love outdoor sessions, especially in the golden hour before sunset, and Amy loves the setting of the natural outdoors. The weather this spring has been so hit or miss, and these guys braved frigid temps for their maternity photos in March. Thankfully we lucked out with a beautiful spring evening for some outdoor photos of this new family.
