Boyertown Family Photo Session
Hailey contacted me about birthday photos, and in talking to her realized that this would be a great time to get some updated family photos as well. Their two kids, Mason and Autumn, keep them pretty busy, and I'm so glad that they decided to document this fun and crazy time in their life!
It was hot on the day of their session - the hottest day of the year at that point, but in spite of the heat and humidity, they all managed to look great and have amazing attitudes for a family shoot and cake smash (see my next blog post for more photos of that). I love how their outfits coordinated so beautifully and the neutral colors complemented the beautiful park perfectly. It took Mason a little while to warm up, but once he did, we had a great time and he gave me some awesome faces (the cupcakes and a lollipop didn't hurt either). As a mom, I understand that kids do not always like getting their photos taken (mine especially), so I like to allow time to just let them warm up and get comfortable. Candid family shots are a great way to do this, and I feel like those almost always end up being the favorites because they accurately resemble real life!
