Allentown In-Home Newborn Session

I was honored to meet sweet baby Saint and his parents last month for an in-home newborn session. I'll be honest, sometimes I get a little stressed about newborn sessions, because you never know what you're going to get. Sometimes the baby is really fussy, or just not content to be put down. Sometimes they decide that they are ravenously hungry and just want to eat on and off for the entire session. Some babies love to be swaddled, others can't be contained. But I LOVE the sweetness, intimacy and comfort of in-home newborn sessions. Especially ones like this one!

Saint was such a good baby, like seriously, don't know that he cried much at all. He was so content just to be held with Mom and Dad, and he pretty much cozied up and snoozed through every outfit change and pose we put him through! I love me a good baby in a basket (or box) pose, and capturing those detail shots of a sweet baby are always a priority. But the photos with mom and dad just holding and loving on their baby, capturing how he just melts into their arms, fits perfectly on their chest, the sweet peace that only baby kisses can bring - those are the ones that make my heart skip a beat. This newborn session was so effortless, and I love the way these photos came out!
